Pink Shirt Day 2017
For Pink Shirt Day on Tuesday, Feb 28th, Anderdon will be using the anti-bullying theme to “Heal The World”. This year, we are supporting a very special person, Paige Grossutti, in her fight against cancer. Paige is in Grade 9 at General Amherst High school, and was a student here at Anderdon for all of her elementary years. Paige always lent a helping hand wherever it was needed so we would like to now help her and her family. Her brother, Riley, is in Grade 4 at Anderdon and will be handing out pink bracelets for each student and staff member to wear on Pink Shirt Day. In return, we are asking for a donation from everyone for these bracelets to help support Powerful Paige and her family as they fight their battle against cancer. You can also show your support by wearing as much pink as possible on Tuesday, February 28th. Thanks for your support

First few days of school!
Welcome back!!
Welcome back to our SK families and welcome again to our new JK families!
Wow! The first few days of kindergarten have been very exciting and busy! We have been working hard at learning our expectations and routines and getting to know each other. This year I have the pleasure to be working with Ms. Conaty. We are both looking foward to getting to know and working with all of you!
Thank you to parents who have already completed and returned all the beginning of the year paper work (blue photo consent form, green internet use form, white health information form and the white questionnaire form for new SK and JK students). Please send completed forms back to school as soon as possible. When we have received all photo consent forms we will begin posting pictures of our days!
Don't forget to sign up for our class Remind account for announcements and reminders to be sent to your phone! We have a new class code this year and the information should have been in your child's note tote from the first day of school.
Also, thank you for sending in family photos and the 1.5 inch or 2 inch binders with a beginning pack of sheet protectors. I am really excited to display our family photos and to start your child's documentation binder!
Please do not hesitate to contact us at school or send a note with any questions or concerns. We are partners in your child's well being and education, regular contact will benefit everyone!
Thank you! Looking forward to another great year!!
